SLC Agrícola, one of the world’s main producers of grains and fibers will be included in the program for the “ESG in Agribusiness – A decade of regeneration” event which will take place on Wednesday, November 10th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is free and will be held in a virtual format on YouTube. SLC Agrícola is one of the event’s partners will participate in the third panel, “ESG Dimensions in Agribusiness”, at 7:00 p.m. with Álvaro Dilli, Human Resources and Sustainability Director, representing the company.
During the discussions, Dilli will speak on the “importance of ESG in financial markets, the granting of credits, and international and trade relations integrating best practices for society, the environment, and governance at SLC Agrícola and in the sector as a whole”. The panel, which will be mediated by Marcelo Linguitte, Operations Director at Global Compact Brazil Network, will also feature participation from Luiz Piccinin, CEO of Áster Máquinas – John Deere, Guilherme Scheffer, CFO from Scheffer and Thiago Guedes, CSR Rural Banking Manager for Brazil – Rabobank Brasil.
ESG in Agribusiness “A Decade of Regeneration” is an initiative from SB Sustainable Business and Aster Máquinas – John Deere. There will be three panels held at the event in which themes related to different ESG factors and their dimensions, as well as best practices in the agricultural sector, will be discussed.
