This Thursday (23), SLC Agrícola received an important recognition for its ESG practices. The company was awarded with Exame´s 2022 Best of ESG Award, which recognizes companies’ actions in social responsibility, environmental actions and governance. This is the first time SLC Agrícola has received this award. The company was included among the winners in the Agro, Food and Beverage category.
The award ceremony in São Paulo was attended by Human Resources, IT and Sustainability Officer, Álvaro Dilli; People Management and Corporate Communications Manager, Déa Machado and Sustainability Manager, Tiago Agne.
“SLC Agrícola continues to reinforce the social and environmental commitments that have guided its actions so far and that have resulted in important recognitions such as this one. This recognition is an incentive for ESG practices to be increasingly present in each sector of the company”, says Álvaro Dilli.
Created in 2000, the EXAME Good Corporate Citizen Guide and the Best ESG Award are currently some of the main guidelines on corporate responsibility. The award highlights organizations that have been a benchmark and have made a relevant contribution to sustainable development and a more responsible market in Brazil.
